I break visual contact with Angelos and my head undergoes another dizziness, as every time has happened when we’ve got a deep lock of stares, and look back at Donovan in my Denise smiling persona to find him with his gaze down, like absent from all this in here, like under a fucking spell or something to not hear, move, say, or fucking breathe the air inside the room, lifting my eyebrows at him and having my eyes moving left and right to assess the fucking situation with him.
Angelos is not making the same “scandal” as before for my hand going off his head again, remaining in a sort of tensed silence.
