Riley takes my hand and with her in his arms, he walks with us back in the restaurant.
“No, bro. We need to negotiate over lunch. Ha-ha! This is serious and my Princess is upset with me. He, he, he….” He’s kissing her cherubic cheek again. She’s adorable.
“Oh shit….” Quency, following us.
I’m laughing at Lara who’s in the same pout at Riley with her arms wrapped around his neck.
“I won’t negotiate! That’s my mommy!” She’s pointing at me.
“You will. That’s my wife.”
“Oh man…. Lara?” Quency, on a kind of panicked voice.
“Calm down, Quency. It’s alright.” I say to Quency who’s changing colors at face looking at Riley’s back.
He seems scared of his reaction over what my baby said.
